Contribute to the SWES Fund Today and Support Our Students!

Dear Friends,

What a great start to the new school year! Our students are finally settled into their classrooms and new routines, developing friendships, and ready to take on the challenges of the year ahead. Elementary school is a special time in our children’s lives and the Sunita Williams Parent Teacher Council is with you every step of the way, from your child’s first anxious steps into Kindergarten to their joyful days ruling the school as a Fifth Grader. We are excited to host a full slate of events and programming to enhance the SWES experience for our students, teachers, and families, but to achieve this goal we need your support.

As we kickoff our annual fundraising campaign we ask you to make a gift to the SWES Fund. Previously known as Invest in Our Children (IIOC), the SWES Fund provides the foundation for all PTC activities for the current school year. The PTC also funds teacher grants, pays for field trips, and provides further support to teachers/staff and families in need. Whether it be the Festival of Cultures, Candy Bar Bingo, Family Movie Night, the Parent Social, SWESFest spring carnival or the 30+ other PTC initiatives throughout the year, it is your support that enables this.

This year our goal is 50% participation from Sunita Williams families to the SWES Fund. In the past, the average gift was $100, but a gift at any level can make a meaningful difference to our students’ educational experience – both in and outside of the classroom. In appreciation for donating, each grade will receive a special SWES keychain once they reach 50% participation.
